This position is at the Manhattan VA Medical Center which is part of Veteran Integrated Service Network 2.  VISN 2 provides services and oversight to 15 Medical centers, 64 VA Clinics, 7 mobile units and 23 Vet Centers that provide a full continuum of services to Veterans in new York/New Jersey.  Manhattan VA is comprised of 10 Surgical Suites, a comprehensive Imaging center, several ICUs and comprehensive Outpatient and Ambulatory care. The Healthcare Technology Management/Biomedical Engineering service maintains over 5,000 medical devices of a mixed complex variety.  VA offers employees OEM Training for Medical Equipment and other career-advancing opportunities.
